Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

During the overnight, snow spread across the region with amounts by
mid morning ranging from a few tenths to nearly 4 inches. The
overnight lows ranged from the upper 20s to lower 30s.
The system that has brought the snow will continue to move east this
afternoon allowing the snow to diminish from west to east with dry
conditions expected overnight. We should then see a little sunshine
during the first part of Monday before clouds move back in.
Looking at the temperatures, expect highs this afternoon to reach
the low and mid 30s, with the overnight lows dipping into the mid
and upper 20s. Temperatures will then warm into a 35 to 40 degree
range on Monday as our winds swing around to the south.
