Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
350 PM CDT Wed Sep 28 2016

Scattered light rain showers were moving across the region this
afternoon. Skies were mostly cloudy with temperatures in the upper
50s to lower 60s.

Chances for showers are expected to diminish early this evening.
This will be accompanied by a gradual clearing in cloud cover. Low
temperatures tonight will be in the 40s. Some patchy areas of fog
may develop overnight, especially in river valleys.

Thursday will be the nicest day of the week, with mostly sunny skies
and highs in the mid 60s to lower 70s. Cloud cover will begin to
increase on Friday as a low pressure system drifts northwestward
back toward the region. Chances for rain showers will then increase
Friday night into Saturday. Highs will mainly be in the 60s through
the weekend.
