During the overnight, a few spotty sprinkles were seen across
Minnesota and Wisconsin, otherwise dry weather prevailed. The
overnight lows ranged from the mid 30s to around 50 degrees.

The unusually mild weather will continue across the region today. The
afternoon readings will top out mostly in the mid 50s to mid 60s,
with even a few 70 degree readings possible in southwest Wisconsin.
Then for tonight expect lows in the 30s. High temperatures will then
cool down into the 40s for Thursday.

A winter storm is still slated to march across the region Thursday
night through Friday night. Rain...snow and wind will accompany the
storm. Currently, the greater risk for the heaviest snows lie from
south central Minnesota into northwest Wisconsin.  The preciptiation
will remain mostly as rain across eastern Iowa into the southern half
of Wisconsin on Friday before changing over late in the day.
