Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

At mid afternoon, light snow was tapering off with the main area now
moving across northern Illinois and portions of east central Iowa.
Temperatures ranged from the mid 20s to mid 30s.

Colder air will flow into the area tonight on gusty northwest winds.
Clouds will also decrease which is going to allow temperatures by
morning to drop into a 10 to 15 degree range across much of the
area, with even single digits across northern and central Wisconsin.

Sunshine and a brisk northwest breezes can be expected for Tuesday.
However, temperatures will only reach the teens across northern and
central Wisconsin, with low and mid 20s the rest of the area.
