Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

Last evening was cloudy and cool with scattered rain showers
across the region. Temperatures were nearly steady in the lower to
mid 50s with a light north wind.

Early this morning, scattered showers continue mainly across
portions of central and northern Wisconsin. Low temperatures will
bottom out in the mid to upper 40s by sunrise. For the rest of
today, showers will slowly diminish through this afternoon with a
return to dry weather this evening. Additional rainfall amounts
will generally be less than a tenth of an inch. Afternoon highs
will reach the lower 60s.

Looking ahead, temperatures will warm up towards the end of the
week as daytime highs return to the upper 60s and lower 70s.
Thursday will be dry, but periodic chances for showers and
thunderstorms will return Friday into the holiday weekend.
