Rain and a few stronger thunderstorms were moving through
northeast Iowa and southeast Minnesota during the afternoon hours
on Thursday, with the strongest storms producing hail and wind
gusts up to 45 miles per hour. Otherwise, afternoon temperatures
were in the mid 30s to mid 40s.

Wet weather is on tap for tonight and into the weekend as a low
pressure system moves through the area. Rain will last through
much of Saturday and possibly linger into Sunday. Rainfall totals
by Saturday evening are expected to range from three quarters of
an inch to 1.25 inches.

High temperatures on Friday will range from the 40s in central
Wisconsin and southeast Minnesota to the mid 60s in southwest
Wisconsin. For the weekend, expect high temperatures to mainly be
in the 40s and lows to be in the 30s.
