Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
1023 AM CDT Wed Jul 19 2017

Mostly clear skies and quiet weather were seen overnight
following the evening thunderstorms. Low temperatures were in the
mid 60s to lower 70s.

Another warm day is expected today, with high temperatures
reaching the mid to upper 80s. Strong to severe thunderstorms are
expected to move through the area late this afternoon into
tonight, with damaging winds being the main threat. However,
uncertainty still exists with timing and location of the greatest
impact. At this time, it appears areas southwest of Interstate 94
have the greatest chances for severe weather.

Additional shower and storm chances will continue through the work
week and into the weekend. Temperatures will be seasonably warm,
with highs in the 80s.
