Last evening was cloudy with lingering light rain or snow showers
as a low pressure system moved slowly eastward across the Great
Lakes region. Temperatures remained steady in the mid to upper 30s
with light westerly winds.
For today, all remaining precipitation will move east of the local
area with a return to dry conditions by late this afternoon.
Expect very little change in temperatures with highs from the mid
30s to near 40 degrees. Winds will increase slightly from the
northwest with an occasional gust to around 15 mph.
Looking ahead, Friday and Saturday will be dry, but cloudy and a
bit cooler with highs in the lower to mid 30s. The next best
chance for light rain or snow will be late Saturday night through
Sunday. Some light snow accumulations are possible on Sunday,
mainly east of the Mississippi River.
