Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
327 PM CDT FRI MAY 20 2016

Despite more clouds than the past few days, the warming trend of
this week has continued, with afternoon observations mainly in
the low to mid 70s.

Skies are expected to clear as the night progresses with winds
becoming calm. Overnight lows will drop down to the upper 30s in
a few spots in north central Wisconsin to west central Wisconsin,
but farther to the south and west, temperatures should remain in
the upper 40s to lower 50s.

High pressure will continue to dominate into the weekend, providing
mainly sunny and dry conditions. High temperatures will reach the
upper 70s to lower 80s.

Looking ahead...a more active weather pattern appears to be setting
up for next week, with periodic chances for showers and
thunderstorms.
