Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
813 PM CST Tue Feb 20 2018

Freezing rain exited the area by mid-morning on Tuesday, though many
roads, especially rural roads and side streets, remained quite
slick into the afternoon hours. Otherwise, rain continued to fall
in parts of far southern Wisconsin during the early afternoon,
with flooding occurring in some areas. Temperatures on Tuesday
slowly fell throughout the day, ranging from the teens in
southern Minnesota and northern Iowa, to the upper 20s into
central and southern Wisconsin by the late afternoon.

The weather will be quiet for tonight and Wednesday, with lows
tonight in the single digits and teens and highs on Wednesday
generally in the 20s.

Look for a slight warmup back into the 30s to end the work week,
with additional snow and ice chances moving in on Thursday and
lasting into Friday.
