Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

An upper level disturbance moved into eastern Wisconsin overnight
and brought scattered showers across parts of the area. Low
temperatures ranged from the middle 40s across northern
Minnesota...to the middle to upper 50s across southern Iowa.

Light rain or sprinkles prevailed across parts of northeast Iowa
and southeast Minnesota this morning. Temperatures were in the
lower 60s to the lower 70s. A cold front will slowly push into
western Wisconsin and central Iowa this afternoon and produce
scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly across
northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin. High temperatures are
expected to rise into the lower to middle 70s.

Mostly clear to partly cloudy skies can be expected tonight across
the much of the region...as the cold moves east into Michigan. Low
temperatures will fall into the upper 40s to middle 50s.
