Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

Scattered showers and thunderstorms were moving across the region
this morning. Some locations have picked up over an inch of rain
from these storms. Overnight low temperatures ranged from the lower
50s over central Wisconsin to the lower 60s from southeast Minnesota
into eastern Iowa.

The showers and storms are expected to slowly diminish as they move
southeastward into the early afternoon. The remainder of the day
should be dry, with highs mainly in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected to move through
the region later tonight and through the day on Wednesday.
Temperatures will stay in the mid 60s to lower 70s tonight and warm
back up to the upper 70s to mid 80s on Wednesday. The rest of the
week looks to be dry with near normal temperatures.
