AT MID AFTERNOON...THINNING CLOUDS HAVE ALLOWED FOR SOME SUNSHINE
ACROSS IOWA AND PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN WISCONSIN AND MINNESOTA...WHILE
CLOUDY SKIES CONTINUED NORTH. TEMPERATURES WERE IN A WIDE
RANGE...WITH SOME LOWER 50S NOTED ACROSS SOUTHERN IOWA...WHILE UPPER
20S WERE SEEN ACROSS NORTHWEST MINNESOTA...AND 30S TO MID 40S THE
REST OF THE AREA.

A WEAK AREA OF LOW PRESSURE AND A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE
REGION TONIGHT. THIS MAY BRING A LITTLE LIGHT SNOW...AND PERHAPS
SOME FREEZING DRIZZLE...INTO PORTIONS OF EASTERN MINNESOTA ALONG
WITH WEST CENTRAL AND NORTHERN WISCONSIN. A STRONGER SYSTEM WILL
THEN MOVE IN FOR FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY AND HAS THE POTENTIAL TO
BRING 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW...THOUGH SOUTHERN WISCONSIN MAY ESCAPE
THE SNOW AND JUST SEE SOME RAIN. THE PASSAGE OF THIS SYSTEM WILL
ALSO BRING AN END TO OUR MILD WEATHER WITH BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES
NOW EXPECTED FOR NEXT WEEK.

LOOKING AT THE TEMPERATURES...EXPECT LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT IN THE
UPPER 20S TO LOW 30S. THE HIGH TEMPERATURES FRIDAY WILL VARY FROM THE
LOWER 40S ACROSS SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN TO THE LOWER 30S FROM NORTH
CENTRAL IOWA INTO NORTHERN WISCONSIN. BY SATURDAY HIGHS ARE GOING TO
RANGE FROM THE MID 20S TO MID 30S...AND FROM 20 TO 30 BY SUNDAY.
