LOW CLOUDS WERE IN PLACE OVER A LARGE PART OF THE REGION
TODAY...COVERING MOST OF MINNESOTA AND WISCONSIN...AND MAINLY
NORTHEAST IOWA. SUNSHINE PREVAILED OUT TO THE WEST. THESE CLOUDS
HELD TEMPERATURES MAINLY IN THE LOWER TO MID 40S OVERNIGHT...WHILE
30S WERE COMMON ACROSS MOST OF MINNESOTA AND IOWA...WHERE MORE
CLEARING HAD OCCURRED. HIGHS TODAY WILL ONLY BE IN THE 40S.

EVEN THOUGH HIGH PRESSURE WILL BE BUILDING IN TONIGHT...THESE
STUBBORN CLOUDS WILL BE SLOW TO CLEAR...ESPECIALLY ACROSS MINNESOTA
AND WISCONSIN. SOME CLEARING WILL TAKE PLACE THOUGH ALLOWING FOR A
CLEAR TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKY. BECAUSE OF THIS...LOWS WILL BE COLDER
TONIGHT...MAINLY IN THE 30S...WITH MID TO UPPER 20S IN FAVORED...
COLDER SPOTS.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR SOME LIGHT RAIN ON THURSDAY...BUT HIGHS COULD
MAKE THE 50S IN MOST AREAS...AS WARMER AIR TRIES TO RETURN. IT WILL
BE SHORT LIVED THOUGH...WITH HIGHS ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY ONLY
EXPECTED IN THE 40S.
