High pressure centered over northern Illinois and southern
Wisconsin brought mostly sunny skies into the area today.
High temperatures ranged from the middle 20s across parts of
northwest Minnesota...to the lower to middle 30s across southern
Iowa.

Under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies across the
area...temperatures were in the single digits to middle 20s this
evening. Low pressure over the Southern Plain States is expected
to possibly spread a wintry mix into northeast Iowa and southwest
Wisconsin after midnight tonight. Low temperatures will fall into
the single digits above zero to the teens.

A wintry mix of precipitation will overspread the rest of the area
on Martin Luther King Junior Day...as the low pressure system
moves into northern Missouri. A Winter Weather Advisory is in
effect across southeast Minnesota...northeast Iowa and southwest
Wisconsin. High temperatures are expected to rise into the lower
to middle 30s.
