Skies were clear across much of the Upper Midwest this morning.
Temperatures were generally in the teens and 20s.

For today, an area of low pressure will move across southern
Canada, approaching northern Minnesota late in the afternoon. This
area of low pressure will pull clouds up into eastern Iowa and
Illinois. Temperatures will be above normal and are expected to
top out in the 30s and 40s.

The area of low pressure will move across Lake Superior tonight
and drop a cold front into northern Minnesota. Skies will become
partly to mostly cloudy across the entire region. Low temperatures
should again be in the 20s and 30s.
