Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

The combination of light winds and mostly clear skies allowed patchy
areas of dense fog to develop across western Wisconsin and portions
of northeast Iowa and southeast Minnesota overnight. Temperatures
early this morning ranged from the mid 40s to mid 50s.

Under mostly to partly sunny skies, temperatures will climb into the
70s today.

A cold front will provide a chance of showers and storms from
tonight into Monday evening. A few of these storms may become strong
to severe on Monday afternoon and evening across eastern Iowa,
southern Wisconsin, and northern Illinois. Low temperatures on
Monday morning will be around 60.  High temperatures on Monday will
range from the mid 70s to lower 80s.
