At mid morning, scattered showers and thunderstorms were noted
across southern and western Iowa into southwest Minnesota.
Temperatures ranged in the 40s to mid 50s.

An area of low pressure in the central plains will move into
Wisconsin by Thursday morning. This track will bring showers and
thunderstorms into the region, especially late afternoon into the
early night time hours. A few of this storms may be strong to
severe. especially across Iowa, with large hail and heavy rain the
main threats. The rain will then taper off Thursday with the main
activity north of I94 by late Thursday morning. Dry weather then
returns area wide for Thursday night into Friday.

Looking at the temperatures, expect highs this afternoon to be mostly
in the 50s to around 60 degrees. Temperatures for Thursday then cool
a little more with readings mostly in the low and mid 50s, with even
40s across northern Wisconsin.
