Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

Scattered showers and thunderstorms were seen across much of the
region Monday morning and afternoon, before coming to an end by
the evening hours. High temperatures ranged from the mid 60s in
north-central Wisconsin to the mid 70s to the south. Temperatures
had dropped into the upper 40s to mid 50s by the early morning
hours on Tuesday.

Rain showers and isolated thunderstorms will move through the area
from near sunrise to the early afternoon hours on Tuesday. Less
than a quarter inch of rain is expected. Once this rain moves
through, the rest of the day looks to be dry, with highs in the
upper 60s in central Wisconsin to the upper 70s in northeast Iowa
and southwest Wisconsin.

A slight warmup will take place on Wednesday, with highs reaching
the 70s to lower 80s. Another round of showers and thunderstorms
is then on tap for late Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night.
