Scattered showers and thunderstorms were starting to develop across
parts of the region this afternoon. Skies have been partly to mostly
cloudy today, with afternoon temperatures in the mid 70s to lower
80s.

Chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue into
tonight. The strongest storms are expected to remain south of the
Upper Mississippi River Valley. Look for lows tonight around 60
degrees.

Much cooler air will work its way into the region on Sunday, with
highs only reaching the mid 60s in northern Wisconsin to the mid 70s
from eastern Iowa into northern Illinois. Temperatures will remain
on the cool side for the start of the work week. On and off chances
for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue
into next week.
