A STRONG OCTOBER STORM SYSTEM BROUGHT WIDESPREAD RAINFALL TO THE
UPPER MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY. THROUGH MID AFTERNOON...RAINFALL
TOTALS HAVE RANGED FROM 1 TO 1.5 INCHES ACROSS SOUTHEAST
MINNESOTA...TO AROUND 2 INCHES FROM WESTERN AND CENTRAL WISCONSIN
TO NORTHEAST IOWA. SOME LOCALIZED AMOUNTS OF 2.5 INCHES HAVE BEEN
REPORTED. THESE AMOUNTS ARE NEARLY EQUAL TO THE AVERAGE RAINFALL
FOR OCTOBER.

PLAN ON RAIN SHOWERS TO PERSIST THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS ACROSS
THE AREA AS THE STORM SYSTEM SLOWLY MOVES TO THE EAST. CLEARING
CONDITIONS WILL SLOWLY WORK EAST THROUGH THE NIGHT AS WELL. LOWS
WILL BE IN THE 40S.

MOSTLY SUNNY TO PARTLY SUNNY SKIES ARE EXPECTED FOR WEDNESDAY AS A
PUSH OF DRIER AND COOLER AIR SETS UP OVER THE REGION. PLAN ON
HIGHS IN THE UPPER 50S TO LOWER 60S. NORTH WINDS WILL REMAIN
BREEZY...WITH SOME GUSTS ABOVE 20 MPH DURING THE AFTERNOON.

PLEASANT AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL THEN TAKE HOLD OF THE REGION
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN. PLAN ON SEASONABLY
TEMPERATURES WITH HIGHS IN THE UPPER 50S TO MIDDLE 60S AND LOWS
IN THE UPPER 30S TO LOWER 40S.
