MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY THANKS TO AN UNSEASONABLY COOL AIRMASS
COMBINED WITH CLOUDS AND RAIN SHOWERS. LIGHT RAIN FELL FOR MOST OF
THE DAY...BUT ENDED BY EARLY EVENING. HIGHS WERE IN THE UPPER 40S
TO LOWER 50S.

SKIES WILL BECOME MOSTLY CLEAR AFTER MIDNIGHT. WITH THE COOLER
TEMPERATURES IN PLACE...LIGHT WINDS AND HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING IN
FROM THE WEST...THERE COULD BE AREAS OF FROST IN LOCATIONS ACROSS
SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA...NORTHEAST IOWA...AND CENTRAL WISCONSIN. A
FROST ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR AREAS NOT BORDERING THE
MISSISSIPPI RIVER. LOWS ARE EXPECTED TO BE IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE
30S.

SATURDAY IS SHAPING UP TO BE A PLEASANT...BUT COOL...SEPTEMBER
DAY. PLAN ON MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES...LIGHT WINDS...AND HIGH
TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 60S. HIGH PRESSURE WILL ANCHOR
ITSELF OVER THE UPPER MIDWEST. ANOTHER COOL NIGHT IS EXPECTED
SATURDAY NIGHT...THEN A SLOW MODERATING TREND IS IN STORE FOR
SUNDAY.
