Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
830 PM CDT MON AUG 22 2016

Plenty of sunshine was seen over the region today courtesy of a
departing high pressure system. High temperatures ranged in the mid
70s to lower 80s.

Low pressure in the northern plains will move into the region on
Tuesday bringing an end to our dry weather. However, dry weather
will prevail for much of Tuesday, with just an increase in clouds
expected from the west by afternoon. Thunderstorm will then spread
eastward across Iowa and Minnesota during the evening, with
widespread showers and thunderstorms then expected area wide Tuesday
night into Wednesday morning before tapering off.

Looking at the temperatures...expect lows tonight in the upper 50s
to lower 60s, with the highs for Tuesday mostly in the low 80s.
Temperatures for Wednesday will range in the mid 70s to around 80
degrees.
