Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms moved through parts of
northeast Iowa and southeast Minnesota overnight, leading to
maximum rainfall totals between a quarter and a half of an inch.
Low temperatures were in the upper 50s to mid 60s.
Scattered showers continued to move through the area during the
late morning hours on Sunday, as a cold front worked its way to
the east. Additional rainfall up to three quarters of an inch is
possible, which may lead to some localized ponding of water.
However, no additional flooding is expected. High temperatures
will be in the upper 60s to mid 70s.
Lingering showers will remain in the area Monday and Tuesday,
mainly along and north of Interstate 94. Fairly strong winds with
gusts up to 40 miles per hour are also possible on Monday. Once
