Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

High pressure over Lake Superior overnight and brought mostly
clear to partly cloudy skies into the region. Low temperatures
ranged from the middle to upper 20s across parts of northeast the lower to middle 40s across southern Iowa.

Mostly cloudy skies were seen across the area this morning.
Temperatures were in the 30s to 40s. Low pressure over the Central
Plains will continue to spread light rain into the region this
afternoon. High temperatures are expected to rise into the middle
to upper 40s.

Light rain is expected to change over to light snow across
portions of central Wisconsin the low pressure system
remains nearly stationary over eastern Kansas. Snowfall
accumulations of up to an inch is possible. Low temperatures will
fall into the lower to middle 30s.
