Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

A few showers and storms tracked across the region during the early
afternoon hours. Temperatures around mid afternoon were generally in
the lower 80s region wide.

The shower and storm chances will increase across the region as a
surface front sinks southward across the area. The higher rain
chances will be tonight. Lows tonight will fall into the lower and
middle 60s.

The chance of rain and storms will continue through the day tomorrow.
Temperatures will be cooler with highs in the mid 70s and lows in
the mid 50s to lower 60s.

For the weekend, high temperatures will be in the upper 70s to
lower 80s. Slight rain chances are focused in southern Wisconsin
and northeast Iowa but the remaining region should be dry.
