Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

A few scattered showers were seen across the area today along with
isolated thunderstorms by evening. Otherwise partly cloudy and hazy
conditions were seen. High temperatures ranged from the mid 70s to
upper 80s.

An area of low pressure and it`s associated frontal boundaries will
bring several rounds of thunderstorms to the region tonight through
early Tuesday. The best chances for widespread showers and
thunderstorms will be later Monday afternoon into Monday evening.
Dry weather then returns to the region by Tuesday afternoon.

Looking at the temperatures, expect low temperatures tonight to
range in the low and mid 60s, with the highs on Monday forecast to
range in the upper 70s to mid 80s. Temperatures then cool into the
70s for Tuesday.
