...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT GRANT COUNTY...

At 1154 AM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Prairie Du Chien to
7 miles southeast of Bloomington to Holy Cross. Movement was east at
35 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Platteville, Lancaster, Fennimore, Cuba City, Hazel Green,
Dickeyville, Cassville, Bloomington, Preston, Georgetown, Beetown,
Arthur, Montfort, Potosi, Livingston, Mount Ida, Ellenboro, Hickory
Grove, Tennyson and Union.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

If you are on or near the Mississippi River, get out of the water
and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike
out to 10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to
safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
