Wabasha, Winona, Caledonia, Medford, Neillsville, Alma, Arcadia,
Whitehall, Black River Falls, La Crosse, Sparta, Tomah, Mauston,
Friendship, Viroqua, Prairie Du Chien, Richland Center,
and Platteville

...Slippery Travel Tonight. Turning Bitterly Cold...

Slippery travel continues across the area this evening due to some
snow covered roads, light ice accumulation from rain earlier
today, and patchy drifting snow in open areas.

Also, wind chill values will drop into the 15 to 20 below range
later tonight into Friday morning. Keep this in mind if you were
to have vehicle problems tonight or would happen to slide off of
the road. Travel with extra warm clothing and have a way to
contact someone should your vehicle become disabled. Drive with
extra caution tonight and allow for plenty of extra travel time to
reach your destination.
