...A PERIOD OF STRONG WINDS AND SNOW TONIGHT...

RAIN IS EXPECTED TO MIX WITH AND CHANGE TO SNOW DURING THE MID
EVENING HOURS...WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES POSSIBLE FROM ROUGHLY 9 PM TO
3 AM. NORTH AND NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE AS WELL...WITH
SPEEDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH AND GUSTS OF 3O TO 40 MPH DURING THE
EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS.

THE COMBINATION OF THE FALLING SNOW AND STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE
SOME POOR VISIBILITIES AND TRAVEL CONDITIONS LATER THIS EVENING
AND OVERNIGHT. THIS WILL MAINLY BE THE MORE WIND PRONE HIGHER
TERRAIN AND OPEN COUNTRY AREAS OF SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHEAST IOWA.

IF YOU MUST TRAVEL LATER THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT...BE PREPARED
FOR WINTRY DRIVING CONDITIONS.
