...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NEW HANOVER...EASTERN PENDER
AND NORTHEASTERN BRUNSWICK COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 930 PM EDT...

The storms which prompted the warning are weakening below severe
limits and will soon pose no significant threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty
winds and heavy rain will remain possible with these thunderstorms
after the warning expires.

Please send your reports of hail and/or wind damage, including trees
or large limbs downed, by calling the National Weather Service office
in Wilmington at 1-800-697-3901.
