...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN ROBESON...FLORENCE...DILLON...SOUTHEASTERN
DARLINGTON...MARION AND SOUTHERN MARLBORO COUNTIES...

At 722 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Kemper to near Marion to near New Hope, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
         damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Florence, Marion, Dillon, Lake City, Mullins, Timmonsville, Latta,
Pamplico, Lamar, Quinby, Lake View, Sellers, Fork, Blue Brick, Zion,
Hamer, Mars Bluff, South Of The Border, Gapway, and Cartersville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Please send your reports of hail and/or wind damage, including trees
or large limbs downed, by calling the National Weather Service office
in Wilmington at 1-800-697-3901.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
