...The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a
Hydrologic Outlook for potential river flooding...for all or
portions of the following rivers in Iowa...Black Hawk Creek...

  Affecting the following counties in Iowa...Black Hawk

This Hydrologic Outlook is based on both observed and forecast
precipitation. The rivers will likely respond differently than
indicated...if actual precipitation is greater or less than

Later statements...possibly warnings...will be issued as additional
information becomes available.

Outlook information for
  The Black Hawk Creek at Hudson...or From the Black Hawk-Grundy
  County line...to the Cedar River in Waterloo.
* At  7:45 PM Wednesday the stage was 6.7 feet...or 7.3 feet below
  Flood Stage.
* Flood Stage is 14.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is possible.
* Forecast...the river may rise to Flood Stage Friday afternoon. The
  river may then rise to 14.4 feet...or 0.4 feet above Flood
  Stage...early Saturday morning. The river may go below Flood Stage
  midday Saturday.
* Impact...At  14.5 feet...Portions of Ranchero Road west of US 63
  are flooded.
