...The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a
Hydrologic Outlook for potential river flooding...for all or
portions of the following rivers in Iowa...West Fork Des Moines
River...North Raccoon River...

  Affecting the following counties in Iowa...Dallas...Emmet...Greene

This Hydrologic Outlook is based on both observed and forecast
precipitation. The rivers may respond differently than indicated...
if actual precipitation is greater or less than expected.

Later statements...possibly warnings...will be issued as additional
information becomes available.

Outlook information for
  The West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville...or From the
  Iowa-Minnesota border...to near Wallingford.
* At 10:00 AM Saturday the stage was 7.3 feet...or 0.7 feet below
  Flood Stage.
* Flood Stage is 8.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is possible.
* Forecast...the river may rise to Flood Stage Sunday morning. The
  river may then rise to 8.2 feet...or 0.2 feet above Flood Stage...
  Sunday afternoon. The river may go below Flood Stage Tuesday
  afternoon.
* Impact...At   7.0 feet...Mike Mickelson Park South of Iowa 9
  floods. North Riverside Park North of Iowa 9 floods. Backwater
  from the river causes School Creek to affect the low areas of
  Valley Drive.

Outlook information for
  The North Raccoon River near Perry...or From the Greene-Dallas
  County line...to Adel.
* At  9:15 AM Saturday the stage was 12.3 feet...or 2.7 feet below
  Flood Stage.
* Flood Stage is 15.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is possible.
* Forecast...the river may rise to Flood Stage late Sunday evening.
  The river may then rise to 15.4 feet...or 0.4 feet above Flood
  Stage...Monday evening. The river may go below Flood Stage
  Wednesday afternoon.
* Impact...At  15.0 feet...In Perry...farmland floods and the waste
  water treatment facility is affected. Near Adel...the fairgrounds
  and golf course are affected. Northwest of Adel...Sportsman Club
  Road and Midland Trail flood.
