THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH TEXAS AND THE MIDDLE
TEXAS COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
TODAY MAINLY OVER THE COASTAL BEND AND COASTAL PLAINS. LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL MAY DEVELOP WITH SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS.

THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS ALONG THE GULF
FACING BEACHES TODAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST ACROSS SOUTH
TEXAS THROUGH SUNDAY...WITH THE GREATEST CHANCES OCCURRING THROUGH
FRIDAY. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL MAY ACCOMPANY ANY OF THE SLOWER
MOVING STORMS. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL AGAIN BE POSSIBLE
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY ACROSS THE COASTAL PLAINS.

THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG GULF FACING BEACHES
ON FRIDAY.

MAXIMUM HEAT INDEX VALUES FROM 105 TO 109 DEGREES WILL BE POSSIBLE
AT TIMES LATE THIS WEEK INTO NEXT WEEK AS DEEPER MOISTURE GRADUALLY
BUILDS INTO THE REGION.
