This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion

Scattered light showers or srinkles are possible
today. Northwest winds will be strong and gusty, averaging 20 to
30 mph. After sunset this evening, a clearing sky and diminishing
winds will allow for temperatures to fall to the upper 30s across
the northern zones Wednesday morning. Patchy frost is possible in
these areas.

* Frost: Limited risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Days 2-7 Discussion

Quiet dry weather is expected Wednesday. Thunderstorm complexes
are possible each day, Thursday through Saturday, during the late
afternoon to overnight hours. Storms are most likely across the
northern zones late Thursday, where there is a marginal risk for
some storms to produce hail and gusty winds. Thunderstorm
complexes late Friday and late Saturday may also pose a risk for
hail and wind, as well as locally heavy rain.

  - Severe thunderstorm: Limited risk
