This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

There is near critical fire weather conditions across south
central Nebraska and north central Kansas this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

The combination of dry air, dry fuels and gusty winds are causing critical
fire weather conditions along and west of a line from Johnson
Lake in Nebraska to Osborne, KS on Monday. Otherwise, near
critical fire danger is possible across the remainder of south
central Nebraska and north central Kansas on Monday. Near critical
fire concerns are also present cross portions of the area on
Tuesday.  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Northwest wind gusts of 35 to 45 MPH are expected across the area
Monday through Tuesday and again on Thursday.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
