Crawfordsville, Anderson, Muncie, Indianapolis, Terre Haute,
Shelbyville, Bloomington, Columbus, Vincennes, Bedford, and Seymour

This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Outlook: Scattered thunderstorm activity is possible tonight. Severe
storms are not expected at this time.

Hazards: Cloud to ground lightning strikes.

Timing: After 1000 PM EST tonight.

Discussion: An approaching frontal system is expected to begin
affecting central Indiana tonight, with the threat for showers and
scattered thunderstorms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Outlook: Thunderstorm activity is expected during the day on
Saturday. Isolated severe storms are possible from the late morning
hours on Saturday through the late afternoon hours, mainly south of
Interstate 70. The main risk at this point is damaging winds.

Discussion: A cold front will move across the area during the day
Saturday, bringing the threat for showers and thunderstorms. Shower
activity will diminish Saturday night as the front pushes off to the
east. Dry weather is expected for the early to middle parts of next


Severe storm spotters are encouraged to monitor future weather
statements regarding the severe threat on Saturday.
