.NOW...

At 800 PM MDT an area of scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms in the southern lowlands of Otero County just
started to reach portion of Eastern Dona Ana County. At the same
time a cluster of showers and thunderstorms started to form over
portions of northern and western El Paso county. Radar estimates
light to moderate rainfall amounts with up to a half an inch of
rain. There is a flash flood watch in effect, thus watch out for
heavy rain that could result in flash floods of low lying areas.
Strong wind gusts of up to 40 mph could be generated along with
small hail with any thunderstorm that could develop in the region.
