SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OVER EXTREME
NORTHEAST WASHINGTON AND NORTH IDAHO THROUGH 500 PM. SOME OF
THESE SHOWERS WILL PRODUCE BRIEF BUT LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW RATES AS
THEY MOVE SOUTH AROUND 20 MPH. LOCATIONS WHICH WILL BE IMPACTED INCLUDE
PRIEST RIVER...USK...COLVILLE...COOLIN...METALINE FALLS...AND
CHEWELAH. MOST OF THE SNOW WILL INITIALLY MELT ON THE NEARBY
HIGHWAYS...INCLUDING 2 AND 395...BUT COULD BEGIN TO ACCUMULATE
UNDER ESPECIALLY HEAVY SHOWERS. SNOW WILL ALSO ACCUMULATE ON
LESSER TRAVELED ROADS AND SIDEWALKS.
