Offshore waters forecast for Gulf of Alaska east of 144W

Wind forecasts reflect the predominant speed and direction
expected. Sea forecasts represent the average of the highest
one-third of the combined windwave and swell height.

A ridge of high pressure will build into the panhandle this
evening into tonight. A warm front associated with a strong low
progressing across the gulf will then swing across the panhandle
Sun morning. A 993 MB low will develop in the western Gulf Sun
afternoon increasing winds, especially along the outside waters
Sun into early Mon.
