Hydrologic Statement

For the Tobacco River...The following locations are included:

After 2 to 5 inches of rain in the basin Thursday night, the Tobacco
Tobacco River at Beaverton is showing erratic but substantial rises.
The river is now forecast to crest at 11.9 feet early on Saturday.
Flood stage is 12 feet.

The National Weather Service in Gaylord will closely monitor river
levels...and will issue additional statements or warnings as
conditions warrant. People with interests along the Tobacco River
should monitor river levels through the night, and move
property away from the river as needed.
