Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

Southerly winds on the backside of the high pressure system over
the Ohio River Valley ushered in warmer air into the region today.
High temperatures ranged from the upper 30s across parts of
northern Minnesota...to the lower 60s across southern Iowa.

Under partly cloudy skies across the region...temperatures were in
the upper 30s to middle 50s this evening. A cold front is
expected to move into central Wisconsin and Iowa tonight and
provide partly cloudy skies across the area. Overnight low
temperatures will fall into the middle 20s to middle 30s.

Windy conditions will be the rule across the region Tuesday...as
the cold front tracks into Michigan and Indiana. High temperatures
are expected to rise into the upper 20s to middle 30s.
