Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

At mid afternoon, showers and a few thunderstorms were scattered
from southwest Iowa into southern, central and eastern Wisconsin.
Temperatures ranged in the 70s to lower 80s.

The system that has brought the showers will continue to slip south
and east taking the precipitation out of the region by morning.
Temperatures tonight will then slip into the upper 50s to mid 60s.

Dry weather returns to most the area through late Sunday, though a
few showers cannot be ruled out Thursday afternoon north of I94. The
high temperatures into the weekend are going to range from the upper
70s to lower 80s.
