Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
400 AM CDT Fri Sep 22 2017

Clear to partly cloudy skies were in place overnight across the area
with temperatures early this morning ranging from the middle 60s to
the middle 70s.

An unseasonably hot airmass will see in the Autumnal Equinox today
with highs today pushing past 90 in most locations. These high
temperatures will likely meet or possibly break previous records.
Plan on afternoon heat indices in the 95 to 100 range.

Look for the abnormally warm air mass to linger over the area
Saturday through Sunday with highs topping off in the 80s to lower
90s. Overnight lows tonight and Saturday night will be in the middle
60s to near 70.

Right now, it appears any rain chances will stay north and west of
the area through Sunday.
