Increasing clouds was noted on satellite imagery overnight,
although the vast majority of shower activity remained west and
north of the area. Lows were generally in the 50s with light and
variable winds.

Shower and thunderstorm chances begin to increase this morning
across the Panhandle, with chances spreading east across the
Sandhills region through the day. A few strong to severe storms
are possible in the Panhandle, but the threat further to the east
is low. Expect a cool day with highs in the upper 60s and 70s.
