Overnight...Cool Canadian air settled in across Western and North
Central Nebraska during the evening hours of Sunday...September
twenty fifth 2016...and into the early morning hours of
Monday...September twenty sixth. Low temperatures across the
region were unseasonably cold, with locations generally reading 5
to 10 degrees below normal. The coldest temperature across the
region was 29 degrees Fahrenheit...5 miles east of Keystone in
Keith County...which is located in Southwestern Nebraska.

Today...Under sunny skies...high temperatures across Western and
North Central Nebraska will rise into the low to upper 70s...which
is near normal for the last week of September. Light westerly
winds during the early morning hours...will become northwesterlyat
10 to 15 miles per hour by the late morning hours.
