A warm front will surge northward across the Mid-South today. As
a result, the entire Mid-South will see highs in the 60s and 70s.
Chances for showers with a few embedded thunderstorms will occur
along and west of the Mississippi River as a cold front begins to
approach the area.
The cold front will move through the Mid-South tonight into
Tuesday. Chances for showers and thunderstorms will spread across
the entire Mid-South. Temperatures will drop back down into the
50s for highs on Tuesday behind the front.
The front will stall out over Northeast Mississippi Tuesday
evening before lifting back northward as a warm front on
Wednesday. Additional chances for showers will occur as a result.
A wide range of temperatures can be expected on Wednesday. Locations
north of the front, such as Northeast Arkansas, will see highs in
the mid 50s while locations south of the front, such as Northeast
Mississippi, will see highs in the mid to upper 60s.
The front will begin to sink back to the south as a cold front
Wednesday Night into Thursday. Continued chances for showers and will
occur as a result. Thunderstorms will be possible on Thursday as
