Weather Summary for the local Tri-State Region

Strong high pressure will continue to build in tonight providing
clear skies. The winds will diminish with temperatures averaging
well below normal for this time of the year. Lows will range from
near 10 well inland to the mid and upper teens along the coast, to
near 20 in New York City.

With high pressure settling over the region on Thursday skies will
be mainly sunny with temperatures averaging well below normal.
Highs will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s region wide.

A warm front will draw closer from the Ohio Valley and Great Lakes
late Thursday night. This will bring in clouds and some light
precipitation into Friday morning. The precipitation will be more
likely across northern sections where the precipitation may begin
as a wintry mix. A milder south to southwesterly flow will bring
in warmer air during Friday into Friday night with temperatures
recovering to more seasonable levels.
