...AREAS OF DENSE FOG AFFECTING DEEP SOUTH TEXAS TODAY...

AT 720 AM...SURFACE OBSERVATIONS FROM AROUND THE AREA INDICATED
THAT PATCHY AREAS OF DENSE FOG HAD FORMED REDUCING VISIBILITIES TO
AROUND ONE HALF OF A MILE OR LESS IN SOME AREAS. CURRENTLY DENSE
FOG WAS BEING REPORTED AT FALFURRIAS AND HARLINGEN. OTHER CITIES
AND TOWNS IN DEEP SOUTH TEXAS SAW A LITTLE LIGHTER FOG WITH
EDINBURG AND HEBBRONVILLE REPORTING VISIBILITIES AROUND ONE MILE.

THESE AREAS OF MORNING FOG WILL LINGER ON THROUGH THE NEXT ONE TO
TWO HOURS BUT WILL QUICKLY DISSIPATE BY MIDMORNING.

DRIVING WILL BE MADE DIFFICULT BY POOR AND RAPIDLY CHANGING
VISIBILITIES DUE TO THE FOG ESPECIALLY IN ROADS AND HIGHWAYS
ACROSS THE EASTERN HALF OF DEEP SOUTH TEXAS.

MORNING MOTORISTS SHOULD SLOW DOWN...USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS...AND
MAINTAIN A SAFE DISTANCE BETWEEN VEHICLES.
