...Accumulating snow expected on area roadways Saturday...

A winter storm will pass through Southeast Idaho during the day
Saturday, bringing difficult traveling conditions. Accumulating
snow is expected on area roadways. Those traveling across Banner
and Galena Summit should be prepared for accumulating snow and
icy/snowy conditions. Accumulations are expected to range from 4
to 8 inches. Blowing snow is also possible during this event.
Visibilities are especially reduced in blowing snow and drifting
snow; drivers should be prepared to slow down and leave extra
time for their commute Saturday. You can call 5-1-1 for the
latest traffic and road incidents - it might change your plans!

Creek Pass, Emigration Pass, Georgetown Summit, Fish Creek Summit
and Sweetzer Summits in particular should be prepared for
accumulating snow and icy/snowy conditions. Accumulations are
expected to range from 4 to 8 inches. Blowing and drifting snow is
also expected during this event; therefore drivers should be
