...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM AST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Puerto Rico, including the following county,
  Manati.

* WHEN...Until 1100 PM AST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not
  be passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
  It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to
  work through local drainage systems in urban areas. More rain
  activity is forecast for this afternoon,affecting even more the
  affected areas. Please exercise caution during the afternoon hours
  in these areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1044 AM AST, USGS gauge reports and emergency managers
    indicated standing water in several roads across the affected
    municipalities. Please exercise caution during the afternoon
    hours.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Barceloneta, pr-2 & PR616 in Bo. La Esperanza.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
