The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Poor Drainage Areas
Northeastern Martin County in east central Florida...

* Until 700 AM EST

* At 530 AM EST, heavy rain was continuing to fall over extreme
northeastern Martin County. The heaviest rainfall was occurring
along and east of U.S. Highway 1 in Stuart and Port Salerno.
Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in
the advisory area. A mesonet station in Port Salerno near the
corner of U.S. Highway 1 and SE Cove Road recently reported 4.00
inches of rainfall over the past three hours.

* Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
  Stuart and Port Salerno.

Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected over the area. This
additional rain will make lead to additional minor flooding,
especially along area roadways.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means ponding of water in urban or other areas is
