 ...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in
Missouri...

  Marmaton River near Nevada affecting Vernon County

.Although the river has dropped below flood stage and is forecast to continue to
fall, additional rainfall is expected the remainder of the week. Those with
interests along area rivers are urged to monitor rainfall and river trends and
take precaustions if warnings are issued.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.

The Flood Warning has been cancelled for  The Marmaton River near
Nevada.
* At 9:45 PM Tuesday The stage was 19.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to 15.3 feet by Thursday
  morning.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet...Minor flooding occurs near the gage site and
  affects low lying areas along the river.
