During the past 24 hours ending at 12z Tuesday, light precipitation
fell across the eastern fringes of the Missouri River basin. Basin
average amounts were less than 0.25 inches.  The remainder of the
basin was dry.

During the next 24 hours ending at 12z Wednesday, light
precipitation is forecast for the northern plains. Water equivalent
amounts should be less than a half of an inch.  Little or no
precipitation is forecast across the remainder of the basin.

The North Platte River near Lewellen, NE is experiencing elevated
stages, but below flood stage, due to ice.
