WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT MOVING
THROUGH MINNESOTA MOVED ACROSS THE REGION DURING THE EARLY MORNING
HOURS. SOME OF THE RAINFALL WAS QUITE HEAVY WITH AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3
INCHES REPORTED AT MANY LOCATIONS. OVERNIGHT LOWS REMAINED WARM WITH
READINGS IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOWER 70S.

LOOK FOR THE COLD FRONT TO MOVE INTO AND ACROSS THE AREA TODAY WITH
SHOWERS AND STORMS REDEVELOPING DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS. A FEW OF
THE STORMS COULD BE QUITE STRONG WITH LOCALIZED HEAVY RAINFALL AND
GUSTY WINDS. EXPECT AFTERNOON HIGHS IN THE 70S TO LOWER 80S.

THE COLD FRONT...ALONG WITH THE SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO
EXIT SOUTHEAST OF THE AREA BY LATER THIS EVENING WITH OVERNIGHT LOWS
DROPPING INTO THE 50S AS COOLER AND DRIER CANADIAN AIR FILTERS IN.
