Weather Summary for the MidSouth

An upper level disturbance will bring shower and thunderstorm
chances to the Mid South today, mainly across areas north of I-40.
Highs this afternoon will be in the middle to upper 80s.

An approaching cold front will be the focus for additional showers
and thunderstorms as a cold front moves south across the Mid South
tonight into Sunday.  Showers and thunderstorms will linger into
Memorial Day with the best chances occurring south of I-40. Slightly
cooler temperatures are expected for Sunday into Memorial Day.

Another cold front will move into the Lower Mississippi Valley by
the middle of next week and then stall out across the region
bringing continued shower and thunderstorm chances through the
remainder of next week.
