Regional Weather Summary for Southeastern NY, Northeastern NJ and
Southern CT

Warm conditions will continue tonight as high pressure remains
off the East Coast. Lows will be in the 60s for much of the area,
except lows around 70 in the New York City metro area. It will
also be humid, with dew points in the 60s region-wide. There will
be a chance for showers and thunderstorms early, mainly north and
west of New York City. Much of the precipitation will end around

The warm and humid conditions continue for Sunday, with highs away
from the coast in the upper 80s to around 90 and dewpoints well
into the 60s. Temperatures will be cooler along coastal areas.
The chances for showers and thunderstorms will increase from
mid-morning onward as moisture from a tropical system over the
Southeast U.S. moves up the East Coast.

Unsettled conditions continue into Monday and Monday Night as a
cold front approaches with showers becoming more likely, some of
which may be heavy. There will also be a chance of thunderstorms
going into Monday. Temperatures will be cooler, but still above
normal for much of the region.
