Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
316 PM EDT Mon Oct 16 2017

Dry conditions are expected tonight as high pressure builds into
the area from the west. It will also be on the cold side as
clouds diminish, becoming mostly clear late, and winds weaken.
Lows will dip into the lower to middle 30s for areas well north
of the New York City metro area. Upper 30s to lower 40s are
expected most everywhere else, except middle 40s for the metro
area. Areas of frost are possible late for the outlying areas.

High pressure will remain to our west on Tuesday, continuing the
seasonably cool temperatures. Highs will only top out in the upper
50s to near 60.

Dry conditions with moderating temperatures are expected into the
middle of the week as the center of high pressure pushes offshore
and a return southerly flow sets up.
