LEWIS...NORTHEASTERN CAYUGA AND CENTRAL OSWEGO COUNTIES...

AT 849 PM EST...A BAND OF HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW PRODUCING SNOW FALL
RATES OF 1 TO 3 INCHES PER HOUR WAS NEARLY STATIONARY OVER
SOUTHWESTERN LEWIS...NORTHEASTERN CAYUGA AND CENTRAL OSWEGO COUNTY.
THIS LAKE EFFECT SNOW BAND WILL CONTINUE TO REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY
THROUGH THE LATE EVENING HOURS AND TONIGHT WITH SIGNIFICANT
ACCUMULATIONS LIKELY WITHIN THE MOST PERSISTENT SNOWS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
OSWEGO...FULTON...FAIR HAVEN BEACH STATE PARK...PULASKI...CENTRAL
SQUARE...REDFIELD...BATTLE ISLAND STATE PARK...SELKIRK SHORES STATE
PARK...MEXICO POINT STATE PARK AND HASTINGS.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 81 BETWEEN EXITS 32 AND 36.

VISIBILITIES WILL DROP QUICKLY TO LESS THAN A QUARTER OF A MILE IN
THIS BAND OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW.

CONDITIONS CAN DETERIORATE RAPIDLY IN WINTER WEATHER SITUATIONS. BE
PREPARED FOR SNOW OR ICE COVERED ROADS. SLOW DOWN AND ALLOW EXTRA
TIME WHEN TRAVELING.
