...STRONG WIND GUSTS WILL ACCOMPANY A COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE...

A line of showers with isolated thunder and wind gusts up to
35 mph will briefly accompany a cold frontal passage across
northeast Maine into early afternoon as winds shift from south
to northwest. The front is demarked by a dark line of cloudiness
along and just ahead of the wind shift. Motorists traveling along
U.S. route 1 between Presque Isle and Houlton and Interstate 95
from Houlton to Millinocket should be prepared for rapidly
changing conditions as the cold front crosses the region from
the northwest.
