THROUGH 645 PM...

AT 553 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A THUNDERSTORM NEAR MORAN
BAY...WHICH IS 13 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTH ENTRANCE OF
YELLOWSTONE...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

THE MAIN HAZARD FROM THIS STORM WILL BE HEAVY RAINFALL...WITH
ISOLATED LOCATIONS RECEIVING A HALF AN INCH OF RAIN. THIS STORM WILL
IMPACT AREAS BETWEEN THE SOUTH ENTRANCE OF YELLOWSTONE TO NORTH OF
COLTER BAY VILLAGE...INCLUDING MUCH OF THE ROCKEFELLER JR MEMORIAL
PARKWAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN A SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME...COULD CAUSE SOME
SIGNIFICANT RISES ON SMALL CREEK DRAINAGES...AS WELL AS PONDING ON
AREA ROADS. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAYS.
