SURF ALONG NORTH FACING SHORES WILL BE 3 TO 5 FEET TONIGHT
INCREASING TO 16 TO 22 FEET TUESDAY.

SURF ALONG WEST FACING SHORES WILL BE 1 TO 3 FEET TONIGHT INCREASING
TO 10 TO 14 FEET TUESDAY.

SURF ALONG EAST FACING SHORES WILL BE 6 TO 9 FEET TONIGHT DECREASING
TO 4 TO 6 FEET BY TUESDAY MORNING.

SURF ALONG SOUTH FACING SHORES WILL BE 1 TO 3 FEET THROUGH TUESDAY.

OUTLOOK THROUGH MONDAY JANUARY 30:
CHOPPY TRADE SWELL WILL DECLINE OVERNIGHT WITH SURF HEIGHTS
DROPPING BELOW EIGHT FEET ON EAST FACING SHORES BY TUESDAY
MORNING. A NEW LARGE NORTHWEST SWELL ARRIVING TUESDAY WILL BUILD
WELL ABOVE THE HIGH SURF ADVISORY THRESHOLD. IT IS EXPECTED TO PEAK
WEDNESDAY...THEN SUBSIDE ON THURSDAY. ANOTHER LARGE NORTHWEST
SWELL IS EXPECTED TO ARRIVE FRIDAY AND BUILD INTO NEXT WEEKEND.
THIS SWELL IS LIKELY TO REQUIRE A HIGH SURF WARNING FOR WEST AND
NORTH FACING SHORES.

SURF HEIGHTS ARE FORECAST HEIGHTS OF THE FACE OR FRONT OF WAVES. THE
SURF FORECAST IS BASED ON THE SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT...THE AVERAGE
HEIGHT OF THE ONE THIRD LARGEST WAVES...IN THE ZONE OF MAXIMUM
REFRACTION. SOME WAVES MAY BE MORE THAN TWICE AS HIGH AS THE
SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT. EXPECT TO ENCOUNTER RIP CURRENTS IN OR NEAR
ANY SURF ZONE.
