A POTENT LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL PULL OUT INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS
TODAY...SPREADING SNOWFALL ACROSS SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA.
THIS LOW WILL STRENGTHEN DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS WITH NORTHERLY
WINDS INCREASING AND BECOMING GUSTY. THE HEAVIEST SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
WILL RESIDE ACROSS THE SOUTHERN HALF OF SOUTH DAKOTA INTO SOUTHERN
MINNESOTA.NORTHERN PARTS OF SOUTH DAKOTA LIKELY WONT SEE ANYTHING
FROM THIS SYSTEM. BLOWING SNOW AND LOW VISIBILITY IS ALSO LIKELY
OVER SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE FORECAST AREA.

TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN IN THE 30S TODAY...WITH READINGS IN THE 20S
FRIDAY MORNING.
