EXPECT SEVERAL INCHES OF NEW SNOW ACROSS THE SOUTHERN HALF OF THE
REGION TODAY. INCREASING NORTHEAST WINDS WILL CAUSE BLOWING AND
DRIFTING SNOW...AND MAY PRODUCE DANGEROUS TRAVELING CONDITIONS WITH
WHITEOUTS NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN. THE HAZARD IS PARTICULARLY HIGH IN
FAR SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN AND NORTHEAST ILLINOIS. OTHERWISE SKIES
WILL BE CLOUDY WITH SOME LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS NEAR LAKE
SUPERIOR. HIGHS SHOULD RANGE FROM THE SINGLE DIGITS IN UPPER
MICHIGAN AND FAR NORTHERN WISCONSIN... TO THE MIDDLE 20S IN
SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN.

SNOW SHOULD SLOWLY MAKE ITS WAY OUT OF THE REGION TONIGHT AND
SKIES SHOULD BEGIN TO CLEAR...BUT BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW MAY
CONTINUE ACROSS SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN. LOWS WILL RANGE FROM AROUND
10 DEGREES BELOW ZERO IN NORTHERN WISCONSIN...TO THE SINGLE
DIGITS ABOVE ZERO ALONG THE LAKE MICHIGAN SHORELINE.
