A fairly mild morning with lows from the teens in the Red River
Valley, to the 20s across much of the Northern Plains.

Later on Monday morning expect chances for snow and mixed
precipitation along the International border and across northern
Montana, North Dakota, and Minnesota. High temperatures in the 30s
across these areas, to the 40s south, and into the 50s across
southern South Dakota.

Mild conditions continue until Wednesday, when a transition to a
much colder pattern begins. A storm system over the Rockies Monday
and Tuesday is expected to reach the northern plains states
by Wednesday and develop southward to the mid Mississippi Valley
on Thursday. This system will bring chances of snow to the
Northern Plains Tuesday night through Thursday, affecting North
Dakota mainly Tuesday night through Wednesday night.
