.TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...AN INFAMOUS STATIONARY FRONT UPSTREAM
WILL REMAIN TO THE NORTH OF THE SAMOAN ISLANDS THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT.
COMPUTER MODELS AGREE TO MAINTAIN THIS STATIONARY FRONT NEAR TOKELAU
AND SWAINS ISLAND OVER THE NEXT 24 TO 48 HOURS. TO THE SOUTH OF THE
REGION...A STRONG AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD EASTWARD
THUS ALLOWING FRESH TO STRONG TRADES TO MOVE ACROSS THE FCST ZONES OVER
THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. THEREFORE...ANTICIPATE COOLER OVERNIGHT LOWS
IN THE LOWER TO MID 70S AND HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER 80S
AND MINIMAL SHOWERS THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT.

.SATURDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...MADE NO CHANGES TO THE PREV FCST. A
STATIONARY FRONT TO THE NORTH OF THE SAMOAN ISLANDS WILL DAWDLE
INTO THE NEW WEEK WHILE A STRONG HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM NEAR NEW
ZEALAND WILL CONTINUE TO GENERATE FRESH TO STRONG TRADE-WINDS
DURING SATURDAY. THE WIND SPEED WILL DROP TO NEAR 15 TO 20 KT
STARTING SUNDAY. HENCE...ONLY MINIMAL SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED OVER
THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. THEREFORE...ANTICIPATE BROKEN TO OVERCAST
CLOUD COVERAGE TO IMPROVE DURING THE NEW WEEK.

.MARINE...THE LATEST WAVE WATCH MODELS DEFER DOWNSIZING OF HAZARDOUS
SWELLS AND SEAS UNTIL FRIDAY NIGHT MAINLY FOR THE AMERICAN SAMOA
MARINE AREA. LARGE SEAS OF 10 TO 11 FEET WILL PERSIST BEFORE DECLINING
TO 7 TO 9 FEET DURING EARLY SATURDAY MORNING MAINLY NEAR TUTUILA WATERS
EASTWARD. FOR UPOLU AND SAVAII WATERS...LARGE SWELLS OF 9 TO 11 FEET
WILL SUBSIDE TO 7 TO 9 FEET DURING THURSDAY NIGHT. THEREFORE...ANTICIPATE
HAZARDOUS TRADE-WIND GENERATED SEAS AND SWELLS TO LINGER THROUGH THE
END OF THE WEEK.
